Studio Deals, Buy some art, Happy Holidays!
December really came fast for me this year! I have been working hard in the studio to make some things for shows, and have some opportunities to see and purchase textile art in the next couple weeks!

Art Clvb is "A Detroit-based startup that wants to make it easier for people to buy art is hosting several events across the Midwest on Saturday — including in Akron and Cleveland." (Signal Akron). I am excited to have my work featured as part of the sale. I will be on the 3rd floor of Summit Artspace on Sat. From 12-5pm representing the "Akron" region. I will have works for sale ranging from Affordable to Aspirational :) ! Since I was not able to do a lot of home and useful items for the holidays, I hope that people will show up to purchase framed weavings and wall hangings. If you are still interested, you can download the Art Clvb app to purchase work from me and other local midwestern artists. Below are some of the pieces I will have for sale- https://www.artclvb.xyz/studio-deals

If you are still looking for ways to purchase work from me, I have small woven paper pieces on sale at Gallery 202 in 78th street studios in Cleveland, and I will have some coaster sets and placemats at the Kent State Museum store at KSU. If you don't buy anything from me, it's still a great opportunity to purchase work from other local artists and galleries who rely on these holiday sales to keep their businesses alive.

If you want to see work, I still have 2 shows on view this month-
"Waffle Weave Invitational" Is a weaving focused show that I curated and organized with many weavers from across the country. It is on display at Praxis Fiber Studio this month until December 15th.

"A Fair Trade" with ceramicist Grant Ederer is also still up at the Massillon Museum until January 5th, with the artists' reception on January 4th. Our combinations of textiles and ceramics have been described as "Luscious" by some viewers.

I hope all of you have a happy and safe holiday! I have a lot of things in store for 2025, including many more home goods and framed pieces ready for the wall. Maybe Santa will bring me a new digital dobby loom?
