New Site

Dear String Fans,

I am switching to a new platform! I hope that this one will be easier to use and more fun for me to update, which will mean more regular newsletters. I even bought a cool keyboard to type these. I realize every time that I explain my process to someone that I should really be writing this stuff down.

After a long time of wondering when I would be published, I have two interviews coming up! The first is this piece for Voyage Ohio, which is linked above. I talk about my origin as a textile artist, and how I try really hard to be an artist and a teacher at the same time. The other was a really fun opportunity called Bait/Switch https://www.baitswit.ch/. I was given an image of a piece and then asked to respond to that piece with an artwork of my own. (see below). I did a small mylar and posca marker weaving, as that has become another big part of my art making process.

Finally, I am hard at work prepping for my show with Akron ceramic artist Grant Ederer https://www.grantedererdesign.com/ . We have been working on some collaborations that I hope will look amazing in the gallery in November.
